Do you have an idea for improving educational services or saving money at Millersville University? Then this is the place to make your opinion count. We are looking for your ideas, your suggestions, or your questions about programs, practices, and spending. After all, those who use the services and those who pay the bills have the best perspectives on usefulness and value. Those of us serving in public office have an interest in and obligation toward containing costs. That responsibility covers the state universities, such as Millersville, where we need to work harder to hold down tuition. As the Chairman of Senate Appropriations Committee, I am responsible for helping to decide how state dollars will be spent, but just as important, for ensuring that state money is spent properly and effectively. To succeed, we will depend on ideas and information coming from students, employees, and the community at large. All contacts will be confidential. However, you can choose to provide contact information if you would like to have further discussion about your perspective. This is not an effort to single out Millersville University - it is the public university located in my Senatorial District. We believe every institution can benefit from gaining insight into its operation and from receiving constructive ideas for improvement from those who use it every day. Your views matter. We are hopeful that the information gained will make a difference in the future of the university and the tuition it charges. Suggestions that result in savings and efficiencies will earn a gift certificate – not paid for with public money, of course. Thank you for your interest and involvement.
